Today’s #FriFotos theme is windows and whilst looking through the tons of images I have of windows, shutters and suitably framed images it became obvious that there was another take on the theme. The beautiful and interesting eyes of some of the people that have enriched my travels over the last year or so.
Regardless of whether we believe in souls and therefore eyes as a window to the soul there is little doubt they can reveal a great deal about an individual.
The eyes can be more accurately described as windows to a person’s emotions, it is often clear whether somebody happy, sad, angry, confused or even lying.
Crying eyes can be confusing, the ability to produce tears can be the result of sorrow, despair and happiness. At these times other evidence makes it clearer. A huge smile or even belly aching laughter is a sure sign of pleasure whilst only the least empathetic amongst us can fail to notice a broken heart.
Some people possess very expressive eyes, filled with intensity though those that have the ability to laugh with their eyes are the luckiest possessing the greatest expression of all.
Looking into the eyes of a loved one and seeing their love shining brightly, sharing a special moment, electricity, intensity our eyes can portray the emotion we most wish to see. I do have a romantic soul too.
They can be beautiful, just look closely at a woman wearing a scarf which covers all but her eyes, alluring, entrancing, attractive, deep pools in which we can lose ourselves. These are all descriptions which can be used to describe a pair of piercingly attractive eyes. Coming in many shades and colours, striking blue, sultry brown, enchanting green and arresting hazel are just a few.
Next time you meet and interact with somebody take the time to get to know them properly, look into their eyes, see their character and maybe they will reveal their soul.
I hope you like these images and my slightly unusual take on todays theme.
