Postcards from Riviera Maya

This post was added originally added late at night after enjoying probably a little too much of the resort hospitality at the cocktail bar in Riviera Maya. The friendly team ensured I also tried the caipirinhas and magaritas as well as my usual mojito, all were excellent. The following morning requires some revisions to correct the typing errors, proving beyond any doubt I am no Hemmingway; though drinking may actually improve my writing.

Jetty at Viveroy Riviera Maya

They’re clichéd shots of the resort jetty which provides a far too tempting subject for photography. Jetties jutting out into an azure blue sea are difficult to ignore. This one s not any exception it immediately grabbed my attention when exploring the resort. It is especially enchanting on a moonlit evening with a full moon, hopefully I can add a suitable image tomorrow evening.

Full moon jetty

For now just dream about eating your dinner out on the end of the jetty with a loved one, it’s possible you’ll both be moontsruck by the beauty of the scene. It is available to book as an additional package and for honeymooning couples or those celebrating a special occasion like an anniversary it’s hard to imagine a more romantic spot.

I can imagine many couples or groups asking about the availibility as soon as they set eyes upon it or see others dining there.

Yoga and dinner spot

It is also the location for early morning yoga or pilates sessions which hopefully we’ll get the opportunity to experience during the stay. I just hope nobody decides to take some video, it won’t be a pretty sight and the possiblity of being blackmailed is quite high.
