Looking back is simply not my style, preferring to look ahead at potential adventure; the challenges and opportunities to come. This past year however has been phenomenal for me with some amazing successes that it would have been hard to imagine just twelve months ago.
This site and my presence on social media have far exceeded my expectations and that is really due to the people who read and support me. I thank you all for that and will let the images of a year of memories do most of the talking.
Morocco was an outstanding start to the year.
My first press trip to the French Midi-Pyrenees was an unforgettable experience.
Charente-Maritime region of France was certainly a pleasant surprise
A fond return to the French Haute-Pyrenees
Travelling through the Catalan Pyrenees was one long adventure
The first blogger to have a media trip in Greece, found me feeling extremely privileged.
The very beautiful city of Lucerne, was a great place to visit just before Christmas.
Last but not least Cologne and the Hohenzollernbrücke ensured my year finished on a high!
I realise many of you will already be familiar with these images, but hope seeing them all in one place was quite pleasing. The year involved revisiting much of Europe, but almost all were totally new destinations to me. Next year will hopefully take me a little further afield and offer some adventures in some distant lands.
Either way I am extremely excited about 2012 and beyond not just for myself but for new media in general, there are exciting times ahead for all involved in personal travel website publishing and social media. I hope you continue to follow and enjoy my adventures in the months ahead.
